The 1967 Outer Space Treaty says no country can own the Moon, but rules about mining are still unclear. Working on the Moon could also be dangerous for human health. The Outer Space Treaty says countries cannot own the Moon or other space places. Space must be used for peaceful purposes only. No weapons of mass destruction are allowed in space. Countries are responsible for what their space missions do.
