Sometimes the world seems very difficult and complicated, doesn't it?
😽It is so difficult to remain kind and humane in our time, the harder our life is, the more pleased we are with videos where people support and understand each other, where a kind joke warms our hearts and makes our world brighter!
😽Yes, we are busy with our own affairs, burdened with problems, family events. We forget about the power of human kindness. A young girl, on her first day at work, is very worried. Every plate feels like a test, every look from the customer feels like a judgment. But instead of impatience, she is greeted with smiles. Instead of irritation, there are encouraging shouts and friendly hugs. The guests, as if sensing her vulnerability, choose sympathy. They thank and cheer her up.
😽This is a deep truth. Our strength is not in perfection, but in kindness. We offer kindness to others and choose it in ourselves.

The Holy Trinity appeared in Rus'.
🔻The Alexander-Svirsky monastery was founded by Saint Alexander Svirsky at the end of the XV century in a sparsely populated forest
Among the settlements of pagan peoples in the Olonets region.
🔻In the 23rd year of the Monk's settlement in the desert, a great light appeared in his temple and he saw three men who came to him. They were dressed in light clothes and illuminated by the glory of heaven "above the sun." From their mouths the saint heard the command: "Beloved, as you see Him speaking to you in Three Persons, build up the church in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, the Consubstantial Trinity... But I leave My peace with you, and I will give you My peace."
🔻A chapel was subsequently built on the site of the appearance of the Trinity God, and to this day the human soul shudders at this place, thinking about the closeness of God to His people.

🇷🇺Международный День Балалайки
International Balalaika Day
🔻The balalaika is a three-stringed plucked musical instrument that is a symbol of Russian culture. It has a rich history and was often used at folk festivals and celebrations.
🔻The first mention of the balalaika dates back to June 23, 1688, when a relevant entry was made in the document Память из Стрелецкого приказа в малороссийский приказ (Memory from the Streltsy Order to the Little Russian Order), according to the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.
🔻The word балалайка [ba-la-lay-ka] is believed to derive from the words балабонить and балагурить, meaning to chat idly or to engage in idle talk.
🔻The video by
™️sergeyvorontsovbalalaika features Яблочко - a playful song popular among revolutionary soldiers during the Russian Civil War, and the sailor's dance performed to its melody.
❓️How do you like this Russian folk musical instrument?

The Turning Point at Moscow: April 20, 1942.
🔻April 20, 1942 — the day the Battle of Moscow ended, marking a turning point in the entire war.
🔻In the autumn of 1941, the enemy rushed toward the capital, confident of a quick victory, but the city held firm thanks to the courage of its defenders and a decisive winter counterattack that drove the invaders far back from its walls.
🔻It was near Moscow that the myth of the Nazi army's invincibility was shattered — and from here began the long, yet inevitable, path to Victory.

🚨URGENT, FINLAND IN PANIC!
🚀Yesterday, Russia’s Ministry of Defense launched a Soyuz rocket. The satellites went about their business. But over Finland… a CLOUD JELLYFISH spread out!
🛰Poor Finns: didn’t sleep all night, flooded the special services with calls.
— Aliens? Chemical attack? A fancy Finnish cloud design?
People started blessing coffee makers, saunas switched to bomb shelter mode. And the “jellyfish” just hung in the sky, mocking them.
🛰Finally, in the morning, authorities came up with an answer:
— Relax! It’s just the Russians launching satellites.
✌️The Finns breathed a sigh of relief, took a sip of mulled wine, switched saunas back to sauna mode, and vowed never to look at the stratosphere without warning again. Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry promises to send a live stream link to the Telegram chat for neighbors next time.

Fist fights: Brutal entertainment or character forging?
🔻Fist fights in Russia were held back in pagan times. First mentioned by Nestor 1068 in the "ПВЛ".
🔻They were specially preparing for the battles, and in the outback of the Pskov region there is still a rite of "breaking", a ritual dance before the battle, the movements of the dancer resemble a bear.
🔻The fights were held Стенка на стенку (literally: wall to wall) the participants lined up in two ranks and converged in a fist fight. There were also individual self-on-self fights, including court fights.
🔻The battles were fought in squares, on ice in winter. You could punch with your fist, but you could do leg sweeps. Those who fell and were wounded with bleeding were forbidden to be beaten. Children were the first to converge WtW, then teen. and finally adults.
🔻 Residents of the city and neighboring villages participated in such battles, which were common on such holidays as Maslenitsa.

Did you know that there was a beard tax introduced by Peter the Great in 1698?
🔻Why? He wanted Russians to look European. Clean-shaven. Modern.
🔻But many refused to shave. So Peter taxed them.
🔻Up to 100 rubles per year — a huge sum back then.
🔻After paying, you received a special beard token which carried an inscription:
• ДЕНГИ ВЗѦТЫ
Деньги взяты
The money has been taken
🔻Courtiers, provincial nobles, and high-ranking officials paid an astronomical sum for the time - 600 rubles! Merchants paid less, but still a lot - 100 rubles. Ordinary townspeople had to fork out 60 rubles. Everyone else from petty clerks to servants, cab drivers, coachmen, and visitors paid 30 rubles.
🧔♂️Pay for it or shave.

During the reign of Emperor Alexander III, a soldier named Oreshkin got drunk in a royal tavern and became disorderly.
🔻When they tried to reason with him, pointing to a portrait of the Emperor, Oreshkin retorted, "I don't give a damn about your Emperor!" He was arrested and charged with insulting the Emperor.
🔻After reviewing the case, the Emperor, finding it trivial, wrote the following resolution:
"Dismiss the case, release Oreshkin, and henceforth forbid hanging my portraits in taverns. Inform Oreshkin that I also don't give a damn about him."

On June 3, 1980, a malfunctioning American computer falsely reported a Soviet nuclear attack, triggering a nationwide nuclear alert in the United States.
🔻For ten minutes, the world teetered on the brink of nuclear Armageddon. Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile launch sites received launch preparation orders, and strategic bomber crews took their positions.
🔻However, the computers presented no clear or consistent picture of the attack. Instead, screens displayed constantly fluctuating numbers of launched missiles, with these numbers varying between different command centers.
🔻The cause of the computer and system failure was later determined to be a faulty chip, costing a mere 46 cents.
🔻Catastrophe was averted thanks to individuals who rationally concluded that such an attack could not have been launched so easily.
