❌ блЕстающий ✅блИстающий [blis-ta-yu-shchiy] Glowing, glimmering 🔻This is a participle (present active imperfective) which comes from the verb блистать, not блестеть. The difference between these verbs is in my early post▶️here. 🔻Блистающий consists of the root 'блист-', suffixes '-a-' and '-ющ-' and ending '-ий'. 🔻Vowel И is written in the root because the root is followed by suffix '-a-'.
