In Weeks 4 and 5 of 2026, Nigeria recorded sustained #LassaFever activity. In Week 4, there were 189 new suspected cases and 28 new confirmed cases, with 7 new deaths reported. A total of 594 suspected cases, 121 confirmed cases, and 25 deaths had been recorded. In Week 5, 160 new suspected cases were reported, along with 44 new confirmed cases and 6 new deaths.
