Glue and bolts: a new approach to wet assembly is proposed in Russia 🔩 Polytechnic scientists have developed a new approach to analyzing “wet” assembly of large-size structures using glue and fasteners using a mathematical model and computer code. 🔎 The technology of the so-called hybrid or “wet” assembly consists in simultaneous installation of bolts and application of a layer of glue when joining parts.
