روز گذشته، وزارت اطلاعات و فرهنگ طالبان به خبرگزاری رویترز گفت که یک تیم تخنیکی برای بررسی میزان خسارت اعزام خواهد شد و روند ترمیم آغاز میشود. طالبان که در سال ۲۰۰۱ در نتیجه دشمنی با هویت فرهنگی افغانستان، مجسمههای تاریخی بودا را با انفجار از بین بردند، اکنون تأکید میکنند که حفاظت از میراث فرهنگی و تاریخی کشور از اولویتهای آنان است. اما گزارشها نشان میدهد که بسیاری از آثار تاریخی و فرهنگی افغانستان در جریان جنگهای بیستساله طالبان آسیب دیده و تخریب شده و هنوز هم شمار زیادی از شهروندان نسبت به نیت واقعی طالبان برای حفاظت از هویت تاریخی کشور تردید دارند. #Mosque #Balkh #Mazar-e-Sharif @UN #UNESCO @MHaneefAtmar
