Some 80 people came to watch the documentary about a local community for the long-term homeless. Called Eden Village, it provides permanent housing for homeless people with disabilities and gives them a chance to start anew. After the screening, RT Documentary’s director talked to the audience. It was ‘a surprisingly warm welcome and no aggression whatsoever,’ he says. ‘There were a few moments when emotions were overflowing, and tears came to eyes. A huge thank you to those who organised the event and everyone who showed up.’ After the documentary premiered on our YouTube channel, Eden Village received numerous letters from people from around the world asking how they could help their community.
