🇷🇺Russian House Brussels Marks Diplomats’ Day On 11 February, the Russian House in Brussels hosted a ceremonial evening dedicated to Diplomat’s Day. The event brought together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Belgian society, and Russian compatriots residing in the Kingdom. The Ambassador of Russia to Belgium, D.V. Gonchar, delivered welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of diplomacy, dialogue and mutual understanding in today’s international environment, and recalling the longstanding history of Russian-Belgian relations. The programme featured a virtual tour of the historic interiors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire, prepared in cooperation with the State Hermitage Museum, as well as a performance by international prize-winning musicians Diana Kokaeva (piano) and David Makhmudov (violin).
