The surge in Arbitrum’s bridged TVL isn’t a broad market revival – it’s mostly thanks to Hyperliquid. After the crash, nearly $900M in USDC moved from Hyperliquid to Arbitrum and stayed put, likely drawn in by the DRIP farming opportunity.

DeFi’s total TVL dropped by ~13.5% during the weekend crash, but the rebound was swift. In just 24 hours, it has already bounced back by nearly 8%, signaling early signs of recovery.

Aave saw a ~$900M USDT outflow on Plasma likely triggered by the 56% drop in $XPL from its all-time high, dragging APYs down with it. Still, Plasma remains Aave’s 2nd largest market after Ethereum, with $5.89B in TVL.

Across Q3, all major DApp categories saw a decline in active wallets, but Social and AI took the biggest hit. AI DApps lost over 1.7M users (from 4.8M to 3.1M daily), while SocialFi apps shrank from 3.8M to just 1.5M users.

Over the past 30 days, Hyperliquid led all chains with $288B in volume. On Solana, daily perp DEX volume averaged $1.8B, with Jupiter topping the charts ($763M daily) despite trading only BTC, ETH, and SOL. Not far behind: Pacifica, which only launched in June but already clocks ~$645M daily.

Grayscale has staked a massive $5.2B worth of ETH in just two days — pushing the Ethereum staking queue to a 24-day wait. The rush hints at institutional confidence, but also congestion in the validator pipeline.

Daily transactions on Solana have dropped sharply — from a peak of ~125 million on July 24, 2025, to just ~64 million now. This nearly 50% plunge in network activity comes at a time when SOL’s price has been rallying, suggesting the surge might be driven more by speculative sentiment than organic network demand.

Chainlink might not top the price charts, but it’s leading in dev activity.
