Stop the genocide! Venezuelan social movements united with millions worldwide to protest in solidarity with Palestine, calling for an immediate halt to the US-backed Israeli military operations in Gaza. The march began at El Panal Commune in Caracas’ 23 de Enero neighborhood, known for its rich history of revolutionary activism, ending with a concentration near the Mountain Barracks, President Hugo Chávez’s resting place and the outpost from where he led the 1992 uprising. In the rally, Hindu Anderi, a Lebanese-Venezuelan journalist and longstanding Palestinian solidarity activist, criticized multilateral organizations for their failure to halt the genocide in Gaza.
