📰 NEWS | Venezuelan Gov’t Joins Forces with Brazil’s MST to Boost Agroecological Food Production on Seized Land 🇻🇪 Venezuela’s government is advancing a large-scale agroecological project on La Vergareña, a 180,000-hectare state-owned estate in Bolívar. The initiative, Patria Grande del Sur, will be led by Brazil’s Landless Workers’ Movement (MST). However, the land’s ownership structure remains undefined. The Communard Union has had a permanent brigade in La Vergareña for several months, working with local campesino and Indigenous communities.
