🙈AI Hiring Meets Adversarial Applicants A growing number of job applicants are embedding hidden commands in their résumés to manipulate AI-driven screening tools. By using white-colored text invisible to the human eye, candidates attempt to instruct algorithms to “recommend” them for open roles. According to Greenhouse, which processes over 300 million applications annually, about 1% of résumés contain such hidden text. ManpowerGroup reports even higher figures: approximately 100,000 résumés per year, or 10% of all AI-processed applications, include similar manipulations. This emerging tactic highlights a structural vulnerability in automated hiring systems, where algorithmic gatekeepers can be influenced not through skills, but through prompt injection. It also raises questions of fairness, security, and legal responsibility in digital recruitment. #AI#HiringTech#AIEthics
