Wissenschaftler aus Belgrad haben mitten in einer der am stärksten verschmutzten Städte Europas einen 600-Liter-Tank mit Mikroalgen errichtet, der CO₂ absorbiert und Sauerstoff abgibt. Er wird mit Solarenergie betrieben, erfordert nur minimalen Wartungsaufwand und kann dort aufgestellt werden, wo Bäume keinen Platz finden.
