#Anthelion Concerts We have been getting requests and uploads of a few concerts lately. When requesting, and uploading, it's important to set the "Type" to "Other". The default is feature film, which a concert is not. A documentary about a band would most likely classify as a Feature Film, so it is important to know what it is you are requesting or uploading. Type is unfortunately not something easily edited by staff. Also, if you are planning on filling a request, the types must match or it will not be possible to fill the request. #Anthelion Membership Drive Hello folks, We the staff decided way back when we started building this tracker to hold off on membership drives and let it grow naturally as we focused on creating a feature rich and stable tracker. We wanted to wait a year to make the tracker the best it can be. We have had a couple great devs along the way; @T got us started and did a fantastic job and @k has taken up where Transmission left off. With the great job they have both done we feel the tracker is where it needs to be, of course there will be updates and features added along the way. All that being said, I and the rest of the staff feel it is now time to pivot and focus on membership. With a larger member base we will have a more active community, grow our torrent library and it will be easier to maintain the health of our torrents. @F is a fantastic Administrator and I would love to give him a small army of Moderators and other 'front line support' to help him out . . . this can be done as we grow. The staff is coming up with a plan or two to increase our member base and we would like to open it up to you to make suggestions on how we can make this happen. Just know that we are NOT going to do an open registration period, that idea is not even up for consideration. #Anthelion Stepping Down I have taken the decision to step down as SysOp here on Anthelion. Our start was rocky but we got past that and we're here now and stable. I have got the site as far as I feel that I can take it personally. Now it is time for me to hand over the reigns to others. @Auge will be taking over as the new site SysOp. He has done a remarkable job and has earned it. @kzmgd has done an incredible job of making Anthelion what it is today, and it can only grow and get better with his amazing development skills. @Frontclip has done a terrific job with his uploads and is also a trusted Administrator. With these guys you can be sure that the future of Anthelion is bright and in safe hands. If we know there is an issue we can work with you or at least we may not have to act like tyrants or ogres.
