В прошлом посте говоря "Все вызовы теперь одинаковы" я несколько слукавил. Всё-таки есть в этом зоопарке версий некоторая несовместимость вызов которой просто так не унифицировать. Эти моменты вынесены в отдельный модуль QtCompat (compatibility). Там не так много функций но они довольно полезны.
Этот модуль содержит унификаци модуля shiboken2, функций loadUi, translate и несколько переименованных функций классов или изменённую сигнатуру аргументов и возвращаемых значений. Это единственное исключение из правила когда вам потребуется где-то изменить свой код кроме импортов и этот код не похож на обычный код PySide2.
Например, в PyQt4 и PySide есть метод
QHeaderView.setResizeMode
Для PyQt5 и PySide2 они были благополучно переименованы в
QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode
Чтобы применить этот метод следует использовать такой код

QtCompat.QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode(header, QtWidgets.QHeaderView.Fixed)

🌞🇿🇦 South Africa’s Solar Breakthrough
In 2005, Prof. Vivian Alberts (pictured) of the University of Johannesburg developed a groundbreaking thin-film solar technology that could transform renewable energy.
Instead of thick, costly silicon panels, his design uses a metal-based semiconductor alloy only 3 microns thick (vs. ~300 microns for standard silicon panels) — dramatically reducing material costs.
Through his company PTiP (Photovoltaic Technology Intellectual Property), and in partnership with German engineering firm Singulus Technologies, a semi-commercial facility was launched in Stellenbosch to produce these next-gen panels.

Oil, gas, and coal account for 75% of global greenhouse gas emissions and nearly 90% of CO₂ emissions.
🔥 2024 became the hottest year in recorded history — global temperatures have risen 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels for the first time (according to @CopernicusClimate).

⛽️ Despite the crisis, consumption of oil, gas, and coal is increasing.

Just 57 corporations and state-owned companies were responsible for 80% of CO₂ emissions from fossil fuel and cement production between 2016 and 2022.
