Например, в PyQt4 и PySide есть метод QHeaderView.setResizeMode Для PyQt5 и PySide2 они были благополучно переименованы в QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode Чтобы применить этот метод следует использовать такой код from Qt import QtCompath header = self.horizontalHeader() QtCompat.QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode(header, QtWidgets.QHeaderView.Fixed) Унификация загрузки UI файлов: # PySide2 from PySide2.QtUiTools import QUiLoader loader = QUiLoader() widget = loader.load(ui_file) # PyQt5 from PyQt5 import uic widget = uic.loadUi(ui_file) # Qt.py from Qt import QtCompat widget = QtCompat.loadUi(ui_file) Хорошо что таких моментов не много и их легко запомнить. Полный список можно посмотреть в таблице. #qt#tricks

Chaos erupts in #Somalia’s parliament over proposed constitutional amendments Scuffles and shouting broke out Wednesday during a joint session of Somalia’s parliament after the speaker attempted to advance proposed constitutional amendments that opposition lawmakers said would extend parliament’s mandate, forcing the session’s suspension. Somalia has been under a provisional constitution since 2012, and repeated efforts to finalize it have exposed deep divisions over governance and power-sharing between the federal government and regional states. A similar attempt to extend political mandates under former president Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed triggered a constitutional crisis in 2021 and led to armed confrontations in #Mogadishu, pushing the country to the brink of wider unrest. Wednesday’s disorder erupted when the parliament speaker announced an unexpected agenda to amend five chapters of the.... https://apnews.com/article/somalia-parliament-constitution-mandate-scuffle-f4c7d7e3826b64ca11ce819bcbd77399

#US can access minerals, military bases in #Somaliland, minister tells AFP Somaliland is willing to give the United States access to its minerals and military bases, a minister has told AFP, as the breakaway region of Somalia seeks international recognition. Israel became the only country in the world to recognise Somaliland's independence in December -- something the territory has been seeking since declaring its autonomy from Somalia in 1991. The government in #Mogadishu still considers Somaliland an integral part of Somalia even though the territory has run its own affairs since 1991, with its own passports, currency, army and police force. "We are willing to give exclusive (access to our minerals) to the United States. Also, we are open to offer military bases to the United States," Khadar Hussein Abdi, minister of the presidency, told AFP in an interview on Saturday..... https://web.facebook.com/AddisstandardEng/posts/pfbid02ew6yA7Ycvt3BH4JMz86YUiJN74hP2NhsNmJkqyL555aUkCnD4T1Aa1BHiH62aXedl

#Op_ed: Mandate Expired, Authority Retained: #Somalia’s risky power extension amid emerging rivalries Adam Daud Ahmed argues that Somalia’s decision to postpone elections to 2027 represents a perilous shift toward authoritarianism. He notes, “What is unfolding in #Mogadishu is not a routine political delay; it reflects the systematic erosion of democratic legitimacy, replaced by the cold logic of force.” Regional rivals, denouncing the move as a "constitutional coup," are preparing to establish a transitional authority by 15 May, heightening the risk of state collapse. This instability is compounded by the use of foreign arms for internal coercion, which “provides exactly the oxygen the insurgency needs to outlast the federal project.” He underscores, “The question is no longer whether Somalia faces risk—it’s whether time remains to avert violent fragmentation.” https://addisstandard.com/?p=56507

The deployment, first reported by Janes, follows months of infrastructure upgrades at Aden Adde International Airport, including the construction of specialized hangars and maintenance facilities, the local Garowe news service reported on 14 April. Turkish officials said the aircraft are intended to strengthen counterterrorism operations against al-Shabaab and enhance maritime security, particularly in relation to ongoing oil exploration activities off Somalia’s coast. https://www.facebook.com/share/1CdTEVALpk/?mibextid=wwXIfr

News: #Somalia in talks with #Pakistan over $900m deal for 24 JF-17 fighter jets Somalia is in advanced negotiations with Pakistan to acquire up to 24 JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets under a defence package reportedly valued at around $900 million, according to Somali and Pakistani media reports. If concluded, the agreement would mark #Mogadishu’s largest defence procurement since the collapse of the central government in 1991. The reported talks gained momentum following an early February visit to #Islamabad by a Somali Air Force delegation led by Commander Mohamud Sheikh Ali. The visit underscored Mogadishu’s stated intention to rebuild its air force and regain sovereign control over national airspace after decades of conflict and reliance on foreign partners. A Somali defence ministry official was quoted by regional media as saying the potential acquisition reflects a push... https://web.facebook.com/AddisstandardEng/posts/pfbid02HZtxUSZvim3kk27yGxFSRo5GiuuKCFbZWsbktvFfznSUCc359ULRjXfJoaX22N9dl

#Somaliland appoints envoy to #Israel despite global criticism over recognition Despite mounting international criticism following Israel’s recognition of Somaliland in December, President Abdirahman Abdillahi Irro has appointed an ambassador to #Tel_Aviv. Mohamed Omar Haji Mohamoud was named Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel according to a presidential decree. The self-declared Republic of Somaliland, still internationally recognized as part of #Somalia, has yet to receive an official public response from #Mogadishu regarding the appointment. Somaliland declared independence from Somalia in the early 1990s and operates with the hallmarks of statehood, including its own currency, parliament, military, and regular democratic elections. Israel became the first country to formally recognize Somaliland as an independent state, prompting strong objections from Somalia, which... https://trendsnafrica.com/somaliland-appoints-envoy-to-israel-despite-global-criticism-over-recognition/?amp=1

#Somali tuk-tuk drivers protest fuel hikes since war Hundreds of #tuk-tuk drivers blocked a main road in the Somali capital #Mogadishu on Wednesday to protest increased fuel prices caused by the war in the #Middle_East. Petrol prices have doubled in the city from around $0.60 to $1.25 since the United States and Israel launched air strikes on Iran on February 28. Like many oil-importing countries, Somalia is feeling the effects of surging global oil prices as Iran's retaliatory strikes have targeted its Gulf neighbours and shipping through the vital Strait of Hormuz. "The federal government must intervene in this matter. We are facing livelihood problems as the prices of fuel are increasing every day," Ali Yare, one of the tuk-tuk drivers, told AFP. "The merchants are increasing the prices to take advantage of the conflict in the Middle East, and they have no regard for others'...... https://www.facebook.com/AddisstandardEng/posts/pfbid02D1j73MwKTv8YLDKvanzt9azaSHxC3GgPJV4Dh8x2hppcNHqW4ytQVtp3iY9GKAdul
