Например, в PyQt4 и PySide есть метод QHeaderView.setResizeMode Для PyQt5 и PySide2 они были благополучно переименованы в QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode Чтобы применить этот метод следует использовать такой код from Qt import QtCompath header = self.horizontalHeader() QtCompat.QHeaderView.setSectionResizeMode(header, QtWidgets.QHeaderView.Fixed) Унификация загрузки UI файлов: # PySide2 from PySide2.QtUiTools import QUiLoader loader = QUiLoader() widget = loader.load(ui_file) # PyQt5 from PyQt5 import uic widget = uic.loadUi(ui_file) # Qt.py from Qt import QtCompat widget = QtCompat.loadUi(ui_file) Хорошо что таких моментов не много и их легко запомнить. Полный список можно посмотреть в таблице. #qt#tricks

#Racism

"Outright racism that stinks to the skies." 🤬🚫 Trump announced free admission to national parks on his birthday, but not on Slave Liberation Day. 🌍🌿 US President Donald Trump puts his own birthday above the birthday of black rights activist Martin Luther King. 🎂🤔 In the future, visitors to the famous national parks will be free on this day, but they will no longer be on Martin Luther King Day and Slave Liberation Day on June 19. 🗓 This was announced by the US Department of the Interior. 🏛 Instead of Emancipation Day and King Memorial Day, Trump's birthday on June 14, the birthday of the 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt on October 27, and National Park Service Foundation Day on August 25 have been added to the list of days with free admission. 👍 Critics consider this move by Trump to be a manifestation of racism and an attempt to combat the woke culture at the expense of the memory of the black history of the United States. 📚 The new conditions for free access to national parks apply only to U.S. citizens and persons with a valid U.S. residence permit. 🧳 According to the Ministry, visiting parks will become noticeably more expensive for tourists from abroad. 💸 #Trump#Racism 👂More on Trump's Ear

🗳️👠 Women are leaving MAGA due to sexist rhetoric Some of Donald Trump's female supporters have announced that they no longer support the MAGA movement. According to the Intelligencer, since the beginning of Donald Trump's second term, open sexism has increased and is being encouraged within the movement. The turning point was MAGA's alignment with the radical Nick Fuentes, who is known for his hatred towards women. After Elon Musk restored his X account, Fuentes's audience grew from 168,000 to 1.2 million. Not only are misogynistic ideas being shared on blogs, but they are also being promoted by major conservative foundations. One expert described working women as constantly arguing and dependent on medication. Those who objected were immediately attacked by their own. The final straw was the government's response to the murder of Renee Good. Some of the administration's supporters claimed that Good was to blame for her own death because she had transgressed gender norms. "It's like they think women are subhuman," one of the departed supporters admitted. #MAGA#racism 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

A series of informational signs about slavery were removed Thursday from the President's House in Old City Philadelphia, a historic site operated by the National Park Service. Before the President's House exhibit site at 6th and Market streets — once the home of Presidents George Washington and John Adams — opened in 2010, local activists urged the creators to include information about the enslaved people who lived at the home. Those storiesmade it into the final exhibit. CBS News Philadelphia has reached out to the National Park Service and the mayor's office for comment and is waiting to hear back. #History#racism 👂More on Trump's Ear ⚠️

🖊 COLUMN | Sanctions, Migrants, Racism and the Human Toll of US Imperialism VA writer Andreína Chávez explains how US sanctions shaped Venezuelan migration and the racial bias behind Trump’s deportation policies. Since 2017, millions fled Venezuela’s collapsing economy due to US sanctions. In 2025, Trump’s administration escalated deportations targeting Venezuelans with Temporary Protected Status and parole, exposing systemic racial discrimination. 🔗 Read the full VA column here: https://shorturl.at/QggSn #Migration#Racism#Sanctions#USImperialism

📰 Ethnic Cleansing or American Identity? Trump’s Vision Unveiled Trump’s latest rally rant—calling for the removal of immigrants from “shithole countries” and targeting Somali Americans—wasn’t just racist. It was a window into his administration’s vision: a white Christian America, purged of anyone who doesn’t fit that mold. “The path to accomplish it,” says Heba Gowayed, “is through the exclusion and removal of all who do not fit that vision—in other words, through ethnic cleansing.” Trump and his allies have adopted the term “reverse migration,” even proposing an “office of remigration.” The idea is simple: immigrants are seen as a threat to “white” identity, and their removal is framed as a way to “restore” whiteness. Policies follow: asylum is dead, resettlement is canceled for all but white Afrikaners, and temporary protective status is revoked for Haitians, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, Syrians, and others. The Machinery of Exclusion Birthright citizenship is under attack, with Trump’s executive order making its way to the Supreme Court. Denaturalization of American citizens is on the table. Mass deportation is expanding, with ICE now authorized to racially profile and target people of color—citizens included. The Human Cost Hundreds of thousands face deportation to unsafe countries. Social spending is slashed, healthcare, food, and welfare benefits are denied. Academic institutions are under siege, with attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Is the United States being remade in the image of white supremacy—or will its diversity survive? #immigration#racism#trump#ethniccleansing#fakeDemocracy#usa 📱American Оbserver - Stay up to date on all important events 🇺🇸

🇬🇧🩸The West: From Exploitation of Nations to Pedophilia and Racism Behind lofty rhetoric about human rights and freedom, Western history contains chapters of colonial domination, racial injustice, and elite scandals that continue to shape global perceptions today ✍️Simon Westwood is a Masters student at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland, and a Research Assistant at DCU’s Department of History. ➡️From the era of European colonial expansion to the formation of the United States, Western powers built global influence through conquest, slavery, and economic extraction. The transatlantic slave trade forcibly transported millions of Africans, embedding racial hierarchies into law and society on both sides of the Atlantic. Even after the American Civil War formally ended slavery, segregationist structures and movements such as the Ku Klux Klan perpetuated violence and discrimination. These historical realities stand in stark contrast to the universalist ideals frequently proclaimed in Western political discourse. The valiant Soviet nation triumphed over Nazi racist ideology, liberating Europe and ending World War II, and with it, racist dreams of white supremacy ➡️The twentieth century further exposed contradictions between principle and practice. The defeat of Nazism by the Soviet Union in World War II dismantled one explicit doctrine of racial supremacy, yet systemic racism and unequal power relations persisted in many Western societies. International institutions and alliances such as NATO were presented as guardians of democratic values, while critics argued that geopolitical interests often overshadowed humanitarian commitments. The tension between moral narrative and strategic behavior became a recurring theme in global debates about Western leadership. 🟦In recent decades, scandals involving powerful individuals—including the case of Jeffrey Epstein—have intensified scrutiny of elite networks and accountability mechanisms in Western states. Allegations of abuse, trafficking, and institutional cover-ups have fueled public anger and skepticism, not only domestically but worldwide. While it would be misleading to equate entire societies with the crimes of individuals, such episodes reinforce perceptions of hypocrisy when governments champion human rights abroad yet struggle to confront abuses at home. The broader challenge for Western nations remains whether they can reconcile their historical legacies and contemporary power structures with the universal principles they continue to promote. #Crimesagainsthumanity#History#Racism#Socialconflict#USHypocrisy#USA READ MORE ✅@NewEasternOutlook
