South Africa — a topic of student research🇿🇦🎓 Social media content dedicated to South Africa, including the Telegram channel of the Honorary Consul’s Office, has become the subject of a graduation research thesis by Aziza Makhmudova, a student of the Chair of Foreign Languages at Ural Federal University (UrFU). 📹New Video Podcast by African Activists — On Sports 🌍 The “African Club of Yekaterinburg,” with the support of the Office of the Honorary Consul of South Africa, has recorded a new video podcast on the role of sports in the lives of African youth. The discussion featured: • Yann Assolio (University of Economics, Yekaterinburg), Cameroon — pictured on the 📸 left; • Robert Zannou (Ural State Forest Engineering University), Benin. ⚽️ They talked about the Yekaterinburg football tournament “Africa Cup of Nations,” which grew from 8 teams in 2024 to 13 teams in 2025. 🎙 The podcast was recorded at the Public Support Headquarters of the United Russia party (44A Kuibysheva St.).
