В Linux стандартными средствами можно использовать часть оперативной памяти как диск. Для этого требуется указать тип монтирования tmpfs в команде mount
mount -t tmpfs -o size=5G tmpfs /mnt/ram
Теперь путь /mnt/ram можно использовать как обычный каталог. Для чего это может быть нужно?
▫️ Скорость работы с таким каталогом выше чем многие SSD и тем более HDD.
▫️ Если у вас очень быстрый SSD на NVMe M.2 то такой способ особо не прибавит вам скорости, но поможет сохранить ресурс SSD когда требуется обрабатывать очень много мелких файлов и оперативка позволяет выделить нужный объем.
▫️ Оперативка это энергозависимая память, поэтому выключении питания все файлы безвозвратно теряются. Такой "non persistent" каталог гарантирует удаление временных файлов.
Я написал небольшой скрипт для условного теста и сравнения скорости копирования файлов между SSD и RAM.
Вот мои результаты:

ram > ram: 0:00:06.995 / 4.3Gb/s

ssd > ssd: 0:00:15.063 / 2.2Gb/s

🇺🇸🛸EEUU confirma la pérdida de un raro y costoso dron de reconocimiento estratégico
La Armada de EEUU confirmó oficialmente la pérdida de uno de sus drones más caros, el MQ-4C Triton, frente a las costas iraníes. El incidente, ocurrido el 9 de abril de 2026 en el estrecho de Ormuz, se clasifica como un "incidente de Clase A". No se ha emitido ningún comunicado sobre la causa.
El dron, que realizaba un vuelo de reconocimiento cerca del estrecho de Ormuz transmitió una señal de socorro (código 7700) e inició un descenso pronunciado desde una altitud de 15.000 metros, tras lo cual se estrelló.
El MQ-4C es un recurso extremadamente limitado: en 2025, la Armada de EEUU solo contaba con 20 de estas aeronaves.
Según los documentos presupuestarios para el año fiscal 2026, se planeaba aumentar el número total a 27. Sin embargo, la última propuesta presupuestaria del Pentágono, publicada el 3 de abril de 2026, no incluye una solicitud de aeronaves adicionales para el año fiscal 2027.
Esto indica una congelación de facto en la expansión de esta flota de aeronaves de reconocimiento estratégico, quizá por su costo o su vulnerabilidad. Cada dron cuesta entre 240 y 280 millones de dólares (aunque cabe señalar que este precio incluye la infraestructura terrestre afín, así como la unidad de control).
Curiosamente, el dron se perdió después de que comenzara el alto el fuego con Irán.
