async def do_it(n):
await asyncio.sleep(random.uniform(0.5, 1))
return n
async def main():
for i in range(100):
result = await do_it(i)
async def main():
tasks = [do_it(i) for i in range(100)]
results = await asyncio.gather(*tasks)
tasks = [asyncio.create_task(do_it(i)) for i in range(100)]
for cor in asyncio.as_completed(tasks):
result = await cor

On June 19, the Office of the Honorary Consul attended Deputy President Paul Mashatile’s lecture at St. Petersburg University(SPbU)
📍Lecture Topic:South Africa’s G20 Presidency in a Rapidly Changing Global Geopolitical Environment
🔹 Deputy President Mashatile announced that isiXhosa, one of South Africa’s official languages, will be studied at SPbU starting this September.
🔹 He emphasized the importance of expanding African studies programs in Russian universities and welcomed stronger academic ties.
📚 Following the event, we presented SPbU leadership with a copy of M. Maqetuka’s Jim Is Tired of Jo'burg, translated into Russian and published in Yekaterinburg last year.
🤝 We also discussed potential collaboration between SPbU’s Africanists and Ural Federal University’s African Club (learn more: t.me/sarconsulurals/2036).
