#BeyondHD BHD-RECRUIT BHD-RECRUIT is a new class added as an assessment class for new accounts to assure use and deter collectors. RECRUITS need to meet the basic requirement of BHD-USER and promote within 30 days in order to retain an account at BHD. Many of our current users have been demoted to this class by the system for failing to meet these requirements. The entire class system along with each class's requirements and perks can be found HERE. BHD-RECRUITS who do not promote to BHD-USER within the 30 day allotment will have their accounts disabled by the auto class system. If you value your account, please take the time to read over the USER class requirements and make any adjustments needed to retain your accounts. #BeyondHD Important info The site's minimum required ratio is now 0.25 As announced, BeyondHD will be changing several requirements related to classes, ratios, etc. Invites and other perks will be added as well. The first change we have rolled out is a new minimum required ratio of 0.25. To make this transition smoother, we have gifted every member 25 GB of upload credit. This will definitely help new members who joined during the 2.5 GB initial upload period and it will give an added boost to members struggling to maintain the minimum ratio as it is. In addition to the 25 GB gift, we have "purchased" upload credit on behalf of all members who were under 0.25 ratio before the change. Any member who was below 0.25 ratio had enough upload credit purchased to bring them to 0.26. You may notice your BP balance might be in the negative, but don't worry you will earn more BP and restore a positive balance by seeding. (For those interested, the rate at which upload credit was purchased was the best rate based on 20,000 BP for 650 GB, so no members got cheated in the exchange). #BeyondHD Exclusive Content It has come to our attention that many are not respecting BHD's exclusivity rule which can be found HERE. Lastly, if a specific torrent is flagged as exclusive (with or without an expiration date) do not upload it or cross seed it at ANY other trackers WHILE it remains exclusive. After the exclusivity period has ended, you are free to upload/cross seed it elsewhere (as long as its a private tracker and you comply with the 10% rule). This rule is to give uploaders a chance to upload their own work elsewhere without worrying about racing others to be first, so please show them some respect. Members found to be violating this rule will be banned immediately. Please be advised that when/if you are caught, your account will be permanently banned without warning! Ignorance of the rule is not an excuse and will not be tolerated. In most cases, nearly EVERY new internal upload will be automatically flagged as exclusive for 24 hours and is a general rule of thumb for any internal on any tracker. A torrent's exclusivity can be seen across all views as can be seen from the attached images. We thank all of you who respect and abide by our simple rules. Published On Wed, Jun 26, 2019 1:00 AM BeyondHD has a simple mission be a friendly community focused tracker built for and by movie/tv show lovers. It's because of this mission that we encourage ALL members to participate in the community by leaving comments, rating titles or posting in the forums. In addition, we strongly encourage members to share their ideas on how we can continue to improve our site whether it be via new policies, additional features or contest suggestions. We really mean it when we say that we want our user base to drive us forward. Staff members do not wish to be constantly in drivers seat because we strongly believe that members should have a voice when determining the direction BeyondHD takes. Since Theone has been running an idea/feature contest with some great results, we feel it's now the right time to start asking for your ideas for running weekly/monthly competitions. Before you hit Google and search for "contest ideas", here are some caveats that should be mentioned: 1. We want to avoid constant upload competitions (although, some may happen in the future). 2. Any ideas need to voted on by members. While there won't be official polls, feel free to agree or disagree with presented ideas (constructively). 3. Feel free to suggest suitable prizes (whether it be badges, new features involving icons/etc, BP, fl tokens, etc.) 4. Be original! The prize is the ownership of the BeyondHD site and tracker. That's right folks I am retiring as owner. STiCKYFiNGAZ you now have the joy of running the site, complete with unwanted side effects including but not limited to long sleepless nights, grey hair, weight gain, eye strain, death stares from your wife and your own kids not recognising you. 😏 I will remain as sysop so am not going too far. Welcome once again to the new and improved BeyondHD. Whilst there are many new features, the 2 main things I wanted to see delivered are the bonus and free leech systems which we were unable to deliver on the old site. Now we have those tools at our finger tips we have and will be able to implement more methods to increase retention plus we are able to lift some rules we were forced to introduce on the old site. As for the new site itself, the majority of praise must go to STiCKYFiNGAZ and TheRealOne who owned the project and did the bulk of the work to get us here. Of course, other members of staff contributed ideas and time but these 2 guys deserve the credit, along with HDVinnie the architect of the underlying Unit3d software. I have had a great time bringing BeyondHD to you over the last 3-4 years as owner. I have made great friends, learnt a shit load but my hair has turned grey. I would like to thank all staff past and present for their selfless hard work and generous gift of their time, but I would like to single out 2 people in particular. Tundra the lead developer of the u232 based site who spent endless hours tweaking the old site and keeping it up and running, without him there would be no BeyondHD, the other is InspireHD who was both a FraMeSToR encoder and a workhorse for the site, his work was invaluable. It goes without saying that a massive thank you goes to all members of the FraMeSToR release group that is the heart of BeyondHD. Ably led by stRAf3r, FraMeSToR delivers fast quality releases time after time; they are in a class of their own. That brings me to ALL of YOU the BeyondHD community, bringing quality members to the site is what I aimed for, and I believe I achieved that. Without an awesome community the site would not be the great tracker it is today. Thank you everyone, the uploaders, the donors, the seeders, the downloaders, you have all made the site a better place. Enjoy the new site; I certainly am. I intend to enjoy my semi-retirement.
