A ceremonial shipment of VVER-1200 reactor pressure vessels — the most modern and safe reactors in the world — was initiated via a teleconference! Two giants have simultaneously set off on their journeys: ✅For the El-Dabaa NPP (Egypt): This is the first nuclear power project in Egypt's history, being implemented by Rosatom. The plant will become a cornerstone of the country's energy independence. ✅For Unit 4 of the Akkuyu NPP (Turkey): This is Türkiye's first nuclear power plant, constructed under the Build-Own-Operate model. The launch of all four power units will meet up to 10% of the country's electricity needs. Why is this important? 🤔 The reactor pressure vessel is the very "heart" of a nuclear power plant.
