When a government can't name the threat, it invents one. “Soft resistance” is a vague, undefined label now being used by Hong Kong authorities to create fear rather than provide safety. Today, people in Hong Kong are more afraid of being arrested under the #NationalSecurityLaw without knowing why—just for thinking, speaking, or existing outside the approved narrative. This isn’t about stability.
