In an era of increasing complexity and cross-border uncertainty, Commissioner Ow articulated Singapore's steadfast commitment to tax certainty as a cornerstone of sustainable growth. He shared IRAS' approach towards preventing and resolving tax disputes, which is exemplified through our adoption of the internationally agreed standard for Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) and our extensive network of Avoidance of Double Tax Agreements (DTAs).
