💬 This June 6, we celebrate the 225th birthday of Alexander Pushkin, the great Russian poet. The UN Russian Language Day is observed on the same day.
Russian culture and science created their universally acclaimed masterpieces in the language which served as the mother tongue for Alexander Pushkin and Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Ivan Turgenev. The role the Russian language plays in terms of enabling people of various ethnic backgrounds to communicate internationally can hardly be underestimated. Today, over 250 million people speak this language around the world.
The fact that various multilateral structures have designated Russian as their official or working language demonstrates just how relevant it is in today’s world. Russian Language Day has been listed in the UN’s International Days and Weeks calendar as part of the programme to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity.
The Russian language’s broad dissemination around the world, as well as our common past and far-reaching economic and people-to-people ties have come together to create a solid foundation for reinforcing integration processes across the European space. <...>
🤝 I am convinced that marking Russian Language Day, which is timed to coincide with the jubilee of our great poet, helps promote international cultural and educational cooperation and maintain an atmosphere of friendship and trust among nations.

📅6 Ιουνίου — Ημέρα της Ρωσικής Γλώσσας
Η Ημέρα της Ρωσικής Γλώσσας τιμάται κάθε χρόνο στις 6 Ιουνίου, ημερομηνία γέννησης του κορυφαίου Ρώσου ποιητή Αλεξάντρ Σεργκέεβιτς Πούσκιν (1799–1837), ο οποίος δικαίως θεωρείται ο θεμελιωτής της σύγχρονης ρωσικής λογοτεχνικής γλώσσας.
Σε λιγότερο από τέσσερις δεκαετίες ζωής, ο Πούσκιν συνέγραψε 826 έργα, μεταξύ των οποίων:
— 14 αφηγηματικά ποιήματα
— 6 παραμύθια
— 6 θεατρικά έργα
— και 1 μυθιστόρημα σε στίχους – το εμβληματικό Ευγένιος Ονιέγκιν.
Η ρωσική γλώσσα αποτελεί μια από τις έξι επίσημες γλώσσες του ΟΗΕ και μία από τις σημαντικότερες γλωσσικές και πολιτιστικές γέφυρες παγκοσμίως. Η σημερινή ημέρα είναι μια υπενθύμιση της διαχρονικής δύναμης της λογοτεχνίας, της τέχνης του λόγου και της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς που μεταδίδεται μέσα από τη ρωσική γλώσσα.

🇷🇺Ημέρα της Ρωσικής Γλώσσας στην Αθήνα: Ο Πούσκιν ως γέφυρα πολιτισμών και γενεών
Στις 6 Ιουνίου στο Ρωσικό σπίτι στην Αθήνα πραγματοποιήθηκε μια γιορτή αφιερωμένη στον λόγο, την ποίηση και την ενότητα 🇷🇺🇬🇷 — με αφορμή την Ημέρα του Πούσκιν στη Ρωσία!
✨ Ομιλίες, τηλεδιασκέψεις, δίγλωσσες παρουσιάσεις, μουσικό πρόγραμμα, εκθέσεις και ακόμη και κουίζ για όλες τις ηλικίες. Ο λόγος του Πούσκιν είναι ζωντανός, επίκαιρος και κατανοητός για όποιον μιλά με τη γλώσσα της καρδιάς.
🎶 Αυτήν τη μέρα ακούστηκε μουσική, διαβάστηκε ποίηση, συναντήθηκαν γενιές και πολιτισμοί, και η ρωσική γλώσσα έγινε μια πραγματική γέφυρα φιλίας.

✨ Выступления, телемосты, двуязычные презентации, музыкальная программа, художественные выставки и викторина для всех возрастов. Слово Пушкина живо, актуально и понятно каждому, кто говорит языком сердца.
🎶 В этот день звучала музыка, читалась поэзия, встречались поколения и культуры, а русский язык стал подлинным мостом дружбы.
