🎥Gosfilmofond of Russia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in partnership with the National Center of Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation, has launched a new multimedia project “Victory Map”. It is dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. 🎞️ The website presents a unique documentary chronicle of the Second World War, exclusive digitised film and photo materials from the collection of the Gosfilmofond of Russia. 🗺️The main feature of this project is the interactive historical map of the events of the Great Patriotic War integrated into it. The video and photo archives are published in relation to the places where they were filmed, and synchronised with the timeline. 🔥The website visitors will also be able to contribute their family documents and wartime stories to the project preserving the legacy of the ancestors. #VictoryMap
