Maslenitsa has officially started in Russia! 🥞✨ This is one of the most beloved and joyful traditional festivals, celebrated at the end of winter and just before the beginning of spring. ☀️ Maslenitsa is often called the “pancake (blini) week,” because blini are the main symbol of the holiday. Their round, golden shape represents the sun, warmth and the return of brighter days after a long cold season. Throughout the week, people gather with family and friends, cook homemade pancakes with different fillings, visit fairs, enjoy music, dancing and outdoor winter activities. 🌸 Maslenitsa is not only about delicious food, but also about celebrating life, sharing happiness, and saying goodbye to winter with a smile.
