🚀GLOBAL HACKATOM 2026 – SOUTH AFRICA🇿🇦 Global HackAtom is an international 24‑hour challenge where student teams develop practical solutions for the nuclear industry – from engineering and IT to data and innovation. This year, national competitions will be held in Rosatom partner countries, and the Global Grand Final will take place in Russia in September 2026. 📍 South African National Stage Dates: 5–6 May 2026 Venue: University of Zululand, KwaDlangezwa Campus 👥 Who can take part? · Student teams from South African universities · 4–5 participants per team (any specialisations, but from the same university) · Roles can include: team captain, engineers, IT specialists, speakers · No restrictions on the technologies you use · 10 minutes per team to present results · Working language: English Prize – the winning team will represent South Africa 🏆
