💬 Russia and Africa are bound by long-standing and close ties.
Today, the countries of the continent are striving to finally overcome the remnants of colonial dependence and to strengthen their national sovereignty, above all in the economic and financial spheres.
Those who describe the current period as Africa’s “second awakening” after the decolonisation of the 1960s are right. It was then that political independence was proclaimed, above all thanks to the decisive role of the Soviet Union, which promoted the relevant declarations at the UN.
☝️Recent years have shown that neo-colonial dependence has by no means disappeared. Economically and financially, in terms of control over trade routes and financial flows, Africa still does not enjoy full independence and continues, in economic terms, to serve as a source of raw materials.
👉The lion’s share of added value is still generated elsewhere – to a large extent, and decisively so, in the former metropolitan powers.
African partners spoke about this more than once at the two Russia-African Union summits held in Sochi in 2019 and in St Petersburg in 2023. The decisions adopted at those summits should serve as guidelines in preparing for the next summit, which we plan to hold later this year.
All this will contribute to Africa’s economic emancipation, ensure that it reaps the proper returns and benefits from its natural resources, and support the emergence of the African continent as one of the centres of the rising #MultipolarWorld.
🤝 I would like to stress in particular that we are restoring our presence on the African continent fairly rapidly, after it declined sharply during the breakup of the Soviet Union. At present, Russia has 45 embassies operating across the continent, with four more set to open in the near future.
The key upcoming event on the foreign policy calendar is the third Russia-Africa Summit. It is due to be held in Moscow – this has been agreed – in late October this year. Preparations are currently underway. We count on the active participation of Russian regions in the relevant thematic sessions of this summit.
I would once again like to underscore the special importance we attach to the interregional dimension of Russia-Africa relations. It is a solid foundation which, as it grows stronger, helps ensure the steady development of relations with our partners at the national level.

• Как то я пропустил новость о том, что ИИ-помощник Copilot от Microsoft выдавал любому желающему скрипты MAS (Microsoft Activation Scripts) для бесплатной активации Windows 7-11 и приложений Office. Достаточно было попросить ИИ о помощи с активацией и вам предоставлялась подробная инструкция со всей необходимой информацией и серийным номером. Метод по итогу пофиксили, но интересно совсем другое.
• MAS, проект которого опубликован на GitHub, не банится Microsoft. Ну т.е. Microsoft вообще плевать на пиратство, хотя MAS используют миллионы людей. Вероятно, что ответ такого безразличия кроется в сообщении бывшего сотрудника Microsoft под ником Barnacules Nerdgasm, который ранее писал, что пиратство Windows 11 американскую компанию особо не волнует, так как сами пользователи и есть продукт. Кто бы сомневался, собирая и сливая столько телеметрии.
• Ну и самое крутое: сегодня MAS обновился (подробнее на скриншоте), дательное описание можно почитать на GitHub, который принадлежит Microsoft 😁

- Скачивает этот файл, сохраняет его во временную папку с уникальным именем.
- Запускает скачанный .cmd-файл через cmd.exe.
- После завершения работы удаляет временные файлы.
По сути, этот скрипт просто автоматизирует скачивание и запуск огромного скрипта MAS для активации Windows и Office, которому я попросил попросил ChatGPT сделать глубокий анализ в ответ на анонс новой фичи по анализу кода.

Bolivia: fine dell’era socialista, inizia il ciclo di Rodrigo Paz
Il ballottaggio presidenziale del 19 ottobre ha consegnato la vittoria a Rodrigo Paz Pereira, candidato del Partido Demócrata Cristiano, con oltre il 54% dei voti. Si chiude così un capitolo lungo quasi vent’anni di governi del Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), che avevano visto succedersi Evo Morales e Luis Arce alla guida del “proceso de cambio”.
Il nuovo presidente entrerà in carica l’8 novembre, dopo che Arce ha riconosciuto il risultato e promesso una transizione pacifica. Tuttavia, la svolta politica è profonda: la destra torna al potere in un Paese che aveva costruito un modello basato su redistribuzione, controllo pubblico delle risorse e cooperazione latinoamericana.
A livello regionale, la prima conseguenza è già arrivata: la sospensione della Bolivia dall’ALBA, decisa dai governi membri del blocco per la “postura antibolivariana e proimperialista” del presidente eletto. Una frattura che segna l’allontanamento di La Paz dall’asse progressista latinoamericano e apre a un possibile riallineamento con gli Stati Uniti e gli organismi finanziari internazionali.
✊ Intanto, i movimenti sociali e le organizzazioni indigene promettono resistenza, decisi a difendere le conquiste sociali ottenute negli ultimi due decenni.
La Bolivia entra così in una nuova fase, tra la promessa di stabilità democratica e il rischio di restaurazione.
La memoria del “proceso de cambio” rimane viva, come riferimento e come sfida per il futuro.
