Президент РСПП А.Н. Шохин и представители РСПП вошли в обновленный состав Консультативного совета по взаимодействию ЕЭК и Делового совета ЕАЭС 10 августа 2021 г. Коллегия Евразийской экономической комиссии (ЕЭК) распоряжением № 112 утвердила обновленный состав Консультативного совета по взаимодействию ЕЭК и Делового совета ЕАЭС, в котором Российский союз промышленников и предпринимателей (РСПП) укрепил свое присутствие. Напомним, что Консультативный совет обеспечивает взаимодействие и диалог ЕЭК и Делового совета ЕАЭС по вопросам определения направлений и перспектив развития предпринимательской деятельности в ключевых сферах евразийской экономической интеграции. Он выступает площадкой для обсуждения в постоянном режиме с предпринимательскими объединениями стран ЕАЭС стратегических и системных вопросов развития и функционирования интеграционного объединения. As it is known, large-scale illegitimate restrictive measures have been introduced against the Russian Federation and Belarus by a number of unfriendly countries. The joint efforts help the Union to withstand unprecedented pressure. Pressure is still being put on our allies in order to discredit and weaken the #EAEU. Unlike the "collective West", Russia does not require its partners to "be friends with us against someone." At the same time, the de-dollarization of the economies of the Union member states is one of our priority. The share of overall payments in national currencies in mutual settlements between the #EAEU countries has already reached 75%. There is also a supranational regulatory body, the Eurasian Economic Commission (#EEC), that operates on a permanent basis within the EAEU. 🗳️Decision-making in the bodies of the Union that include Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC), Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EMC), Eurasian Economic Commission Council is possible only by consensus. Each country has one vote, regardless of its economic potential, population or size of membership fees to the Union budget. Thus, the #EAEU is based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and consideration of the interests of all its participants. The existing close cooperation serves as a powerful source for economic development and, at the same time, contributes to the preservation of the national identity and state sovereignty of each member state. 📈Statistics data proves that participation in the Union brings substantial benefits to each member state. The growth of the combined GDP of all member states for the period from 2016 to 2022 was 9.6%. Almost 0.7% (more than 10 billion USD) is the contribution of Eurasian integration, which is a tangible and significant integration effect. All the member states recognize a positive effect resulting from the work of the Union. The results of several years of the Union's functioning prove that this integration project is successfully developing and brings concrete benefits to the economies, business communities and citizens of the countries involved. It is of great importance that international cooperation within the #EAEU is built on the basis of equality and mutual respect. #RussiaMFA#EAEU

🗣️Comment by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the situation on the Thai-Cambodian border(December 29, 2025) We note with satisfaction the agreements reached on a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia following the meeting of the General Border Committee on December 27, 2025 during which a joint statement was signed. Achieving long-term peace will depend, first and foremost, on restoring political trust between the parties and making painstaking efforts to maintain it. We hope that the current agreement will be an important step towards resolving the protracted conflict, promoting bilateral dialogue to resolve existing differences through peaceful diplomatic means, in keeping with the spirit and letter of the Kuala Lumpur Declaration. Today, amid the visible deterioration of the security situation in the Asia-Pacific region, it is particularly important to act in the spirit of unity and solidarity inherent in #ASEAN to overcome existing contradictions. In this regard, we support ASEAN's mediation efforts to normalise relations between Thailand and Cambodia.

💬Excerpt from the briefing by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (December 11, 2025) December 13 marks 2️⃣0️⃣years since the signing of the Joint Declaration of the Heads of State/Government of the Member Countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Head of State of the Russian Federation on Progressive and Comprehensive Partnership. Signed by our respective leaders in 2005 during the first Russia-ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur, this fundamental document created a new path in our ties with ASEAN by setting forth the basic principles and milestones for stepping up Russia-ASEAN relations. We will be marking their 35th anniversary in 2026. ✉️Sergey Lavrov sent a message of greetings to his colleagues in ASEAN on this occasion. On a special note, I would like to recognise Malaysia. It chairs the #ASEAN this year, just like in 2005. I would also like to praise the coordinators of the Russia-ASEAN dialogue from Singapore for their contribution to drafting and coordinating the Joint Declaration which served as a foundation for elevating our relations to the level of a strategic partnership at the 2018 summit in Singapore. Importantly, even today, amid all this geopolitical turbulence, the Association shares our vision and remains our reliable partner. We have been able not only to achieve and sustain positive momentum in our relations, but also to promote new mutually beneficial avenues for cooperation to fully unlock the potential of Russia-ASEAN collaboration.

🗓 On October 23, Sochi (Russia) hosted the 5th #ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues under the co-chairmanship of Russia 🇷🇺 and Myanmar 🇲🇲 on the sidelines of the Kuban CSC-2025. 🔹️The meeting reiterated the willingness of Russia and ASEAN Member States to promote interagency cooperation in finding effective solutions of issues related to the ICT security. 🔹️Particular attention was paid to the issues of combating the use of ICT for criminal purposes, capacity building through personnel training, exchanging experience. 🔹️The parties welcomed the upcoming signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi, October 25-26) and confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation on international information security within the UN and its specialized agencies, including the International Telecommunication Union, as well as at regional venues. 🔹️It was agreed to hold the next round of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues next year.
