⚽️ On April 30, a friendly football match between the teams of the Russian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom was held at Sephora Sport Center in Phnom Penh in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, which our countries will mark on May 13. H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador, and H.E. Mr Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Foreign Ministry, kicked off the event. “Throughout this significant period of history, Moscow and Phnom Penh have achieved considerable success in developing bilateral cooperation based on friendship, mutual trust and readiness to assist each other in difficult times. This puts a serious responsibility on us: it is our duty to preserve and expand this rich legacy," noted the head of the diplomatic mission in his welcome remarks. Families, colleagues and friends came to support the players. The match took place in a warm atmosphere, with the athletes delivering an exciting game. 🇷🇺🇰🇭 Such informal encounters between Russian and Cambodian diplomats have become a fine tradition.
