Опять про интересный тренд:-) No Buy 2025 What is behind the decision not to buy unnecessary things, how to plan a budget, and how a trend that started on TikTok became popular? In the 2000s, glossy magazines told people not to deny themselves anything and to buy everything they saw (especially things that looked nice in stores). But in the last ten years, the world has seen a wave of conscious consumption. Business Insider notes that many people are becoming more knowledgeable about money and want to achieve financial well-being as soon as possible. Young people seem to want to end the culture of consumption or are just tired of "dopamine" shopping and created a new trend – No Buy 2025. This trend became popular on TikTok thanks to 26-year-old Mia Westrap, who decided to stop making impulsive purchases for a year to improve her finances. In her TikTok, Westrap said that for 12 months she will only spend money on the essentials – rent, food, and public transport. No little treats to make herself happy. The No Buy 2025 trend encourages people to reduce unnecessary purchases (like trendy boots, subscriptions, or new books) and focus on what really matters: studying, rent, and close relationships.
