They’re scared to message first, worrying about what to say, and later regret not just sending a simple “Hi!” 3. They believe professionals only talk about work, so their only chat is with a colleague asking for project details. 4. They avoid small talk, thinking it’s fake, but serious conversations often lead to awkward silence. 5. They wait for the “perfect moment” to network, thinking they’re not important enough yet. 6. They believe connections happen naturally, but the last time they met someone new was ages ago. 7. They think important people are too busy for them, while those people are reaching out to others. 8.
