🇷🇺О возложении цветов дипломатами Посольства Российской Федерации в Румынии в Жилаве и Джурджу 7 мая, в преддверии 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, дипломаты Посольства Российской Федерации в Румынии почтили память советских воинов, павших в боях за освобождение Европы от нацизма, возложив цветы на воинских захоронениях в населённых пунктах Жилава и Джурджу. Данной акцией дипломаты выразили от имени всех россиян и неравнодушных румынских граждан глубокое уважение и благодарность воинам Красной Армии, отдавшим свои жизни за мир и свободу будущих поколений. Память павших была почтена минутой молчания. Поддержание воинских захоронений, расположенных на территории Румынии, и сохранение исторической правды о подвиге советских солдат остаются важными направлениями деятельности Посольства. Prin această acțiune, diplomații au exprimat, în numele tuturor cetățenilor ruși și al românilor care nu rămân indiferenți, profundul respect și recunoștință față de ostașii Armatei Roșii care și-au dat viața pentru pacea și libertatea generațiilor viitoare. Memoria celor căzuți a fost cinstită printr-un moment de reculegere. Întreținerea cimitirelor militare aflate pe teritoriul României și păstrarea adevărului istoric despre faptele eroice ale soldaților sovietici rămân direcții importante în activitatea Ambasadei. Будешть 6 мая Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Российской Федерации в Румынии В.Г.Липаев и Временный поверенный в делах Республики Беларусь в Румынии С.С.Жартун приняли участие в церемонии возложения венков на захоронении советских воинов в г. Будешть уезда Кэлэраш, организованной Ассоциацией румыно-российской дружбы. 🎤 В своём обращении к присутствующим В.Липаев отметил, что в г. Будешть расположено крупнейшее в Румынии советское захоронение – здесь покоятся почти 6 тысяч наших соотечественников, погибших в ходе Великой Отечественной войны. Враг – особенно, когда лагерем руководила немецкая администрация в 1941-1942 гг. – обращался с нашими военными крайне бесчеловечно: из-за плохих условий содержания, недостаточного питания и медицинской помощи в румынском плену погибли почти 11 тысяч советских граждан, бóльшая половина которых покоится в г. Будешть. Посол подчеркнул, что «сегодня, когда Россия вновь отстаивает право на историческую правду и своё суверенное будущее, когда мы вновь боремся с возрождающимся неонацизмом, защищая наш народ и его ценности, мы особенно ясно понимаем: уроки прошлого не теряют своей актуальности. Мы несём ответственность перед павшими, перед потомками и истиной». Российский дипломат поблагодарил неравнодушных румынских граждан и местные власти за уход за советским захоронением. Пресс-cлужба Посольства #Победа80 🇷🇴Cu privire la ceremonia de depunere a coroanelor de flori la Cimitirul militar sovietic situat pe teritoriul fostului lagăr de prizonieri sovietici din Budești Pe data de 6 mai, Ambasadorul Extraordinar și Plenipotențiar al Federației Ruse în România, domnul Vladimir Lipaev, și Însărcinatul cu afaceri a.i. al Republicii Belarus în România, domnul Serghei Zhartun, au participat la ceremonia de depunere a coroanelor de flori la cimitirul soldaților sovietici din Budești, județul Călărași, organizată de Asociația de prietenie româno-rusă. 🎤 În discursul său adresat celor prezenți, domnul Vladimir Lipaev a menționat că la Budești se află cel mai mare cimitir sovietic din România – aici își dorm somnul de veci aproape 6.000 de compatrioți ai noștri, căzuți în timpul Marelui Război pentru Apărarea Patriei. Dușmanul – mai ales în perioada în care lagărul era administrat de autoritățile germane, în anii 1941–1942 – s-a purtat cu o cruzime extremă față de soldații noștri: din cauza condițiilor precare de detenție, a alimentației insuficiente și a lipsei îngrijirii medicale, aproape 11.000 de cetățeni sovietici au murit în prizonieratul românesc, iar mai mult de jumătate dintre aceștia sunt înmormântați la Budești. Ambasadorul a subliniat că „astăzi, când Rusia își apără din nou dreptul la adevărul istoric și viitorul său suveran, când ne confruntăm din nou cu renașterea neonazismului, apărându-ne poporul și valorile sale, înțelegem mai clar ca niciodată: lecțiile trecutului nu și-au pierdut actualitatea. Avem o responsabilitate față de cei căzuți, față de urmași și față de adevăr”. Diplomatul rus a mulțumit cetățenilor români solidari și autorităților locale pentru îngrijirea cimitirului sovietic. 🏅 May 6 marks 8️⃣0️⃣ years since the start of the Prague Offensive — the final major battle of the Great Patriotic War. On May 5, 1945, with Berlin already fallen, a popular uprising erupted in Nazi-occupied Prague. In a brutal attempt to crush the resistance, Nazi forces used civilians as human shields. In the early hours of May 6, Czech fighters broadcast a radio plea to Soviet command. Responding to the call, the Red Army launched the offensive a day earlier than planned, before completing redeployment. The operation was led by forces under Marshal Ivan Konev, Marshal Rodion Malinovsky, and Army General Andrey Yeryomenko. ⚔️ On May 7, Soviet forces approached the slopes of the Ore Mountains; on May 8, they liberated Olomouc, the heart of Moravia. On the night of May 9, with the support from the local population, Soviet forces liberated Prague from Nazi occupation. On May 10, the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps, formed in the USSR from Czech volunteers, rolled into the capital aboard Soviet tanks. On May 11, the Prague Offensive concluded. Nearly the entire German Army Group “Centre” was surrounded and captured — 860'000 fascist soldiers and officers in total. 🕯 The Red Army fought for 246 days to liberate Czechoslovakia. Approximately 140'000 Soviet soldiers sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Czech and Slovak peoples. #Victory80

#Victory80 🌟 On May 2, 1945, units and formations of the Red Army under the command of Georgy Zhukov and Ivan Konev completely took control of Berlin. After desperate resistance, the capital of the fascist Reich fell under the victorious blows of Soviet forces. The Berlin Strategic Offensive Operation was conducted from April 16 to May 8, 1945. On April 20, Konev and Zhukov issued nearly identical orders to their front-line troops: to be the first to break into Berlin. Every street and every building had to be taken by storm. On April 29, the battle for the Reichstag began. Before the assault, the military council of the 3rd Shock Army presented its divisions with nine red banners, specially made in the style of the Soviet state flag. One of these red banners, known as No. 5 and referred to as the “Victory Banner,” was given to the 150th Rifle Division. <...> It was raised by scouts Mikhail Yegorov and Junior Sergeant Meliton Kantaria, accompanied by Alexey Berest and submachine gunners from the company of Senior Sergeant Ilya Syanov. 🕓 On May 2, the Nazi resistance in Berlin ceased. 🎥Belarus: A Land Unbroken — an RT Doc Film. Synopsis: During the Great Patriotic War Soviet Belarus, a part of the USSR, was under Nazi occupation from 1941 to 1944. The fraternal Belarusian people, among the first to confront the Nazi invasion in June 1941, endured immense suffering and hardship. After seizing the territory of the Byelorussian SSR, the Hitlerites imposed a brutal and oppressive occupation regime. 🕯 The Nazis killed people of all nationalities through punitive operations, ghettos, and encircling concentration camps. During the Great Patriotic War, one in every three people in Belarus died. But the citizens of the Soviet Union endured all the horrors of war and never lost faith in Victory. The resistance movement in Belarus was one of the largest. Even children and teenagers joined the partisans to fight for their homeland. The occupation ended in 1944, when the Red Army, together with the partisans, launched Operation Bagration — the largest military operation in history. As a result of their combined efforts, Belarus was liberated. 📺 In this documentary, the filmmakers spoke to representatives from the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, leading experts, frontline veterans, home front workers, and descendants of the heroes who defended the Brest Fortress.
