С помощью Ren ты можешь "завернуть" свои биткоины в токен renBTC и спокойно использовать их на других платформах!
❓ Как это работает?
Когда ты отправляешь свои биткоины в RenVM, они "запаковываются" в эквивалентный токен на другом блокчейне — например, renBTC на Ethereum. Это позволяет использовать их в сетях, где биткоины обычно недоступны. Когда захочешь вернуть свои биткоины, RenVM "распакует" токены и вернет их тебе.

Представь, что ты хочешь вложить свои биткоины в DeFi-приложение, но оно работает на Ethereum. Ren позволяет обойти это ограничение, "завернув" твои BTC в renBTC. Теперь ты можешь участвовать в DeFi, фармить, стейкать и при этом сохранить свои биткоины.

Cross-chain protocol Symbiosis will discontinue support for cross-chain swaps on the Polygon zkEVM network starting May 16. According to Foresight News, users holding liquidity on this network are advised to withdraw their funds before the network is fully shut down. Blockchain interoperability protocol Hyperbridge has announced that it is implementing emergency measures to address an attack related to DOT tokens. According to Foresight News, the team has temporarily suspended all cross-chain operations via the front end and advised partners to halt external transactions, issue warnings, and remain vigilant where necessary.
Polkadot has clarified that the vulnerability only affects DOT tokens transferred cross-chain to Ethereum via Hyperbridge. The Polkadot ecosystem's DOT, its parachains, and native DOT remain secure and unaffected by this issue.
