今天分享的是 Benjamin Britten的 The Salley Gardens，我自己是挺意外的，没想到这是Britten的作品啊，小时候应该是听过翻唱，一直以为是一首traditional folk song～歌词来自于爱尔兰诗人Yeats（好几年前挺火的《当你老了》也是他的诗）。这首诗的由来挺有意思，他当年听到过一位老妇人唱的一首歌，但是他只记得前面几句，这首诗就是他试图reconstruct他对听到的歌的记忆，最初叫做”An Old Song Resung”。Britten并不是唯一为这首诗作曲的人，不过可能他的版本最为人所知，非常简单动人的旋律～对比起见也分享另一位作曲家John Ireland的版本～ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXmJhry0tqc John Ireland：https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuoVC2vkOXc #yearOfWonder

昨天的分享其实挺令人兴奋的，但是没来及写😂分享的是著名小提琴家Yehudi Menuhin 和著名西塔琴演奏大师Ravi Shankar 的跨界合作作品 Raga Piloo～他俩的第一次合作是在Bath Festival上，梅纽因虽然是极其厉害的小提琴家，还是说到对即兴这首raga很是紧张～第二年他们发表了一张专辑 West Meets East，获得了格莱美奖，Ravi Shankar也成为了获得格莱美奖的第一个亚洲人。 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gD7x8s3gvOY #yearOfWonder
