Remember, students don't usually pay a school's published price, because most students receive financial aid. If you really like a college, don't rule it out early in your college list because of the cost. 6. Do you have a certain major in your head? If so, which colleges have that major? A college major is the subject area you'll spend most time studying. Keep in mind, it's okay if you don't know your major to be right now. On 27 January 2026, NEBE held discussions with leaders of higher education institutions and Ministry of Education representatives to ensure students studying far from their home constituencies can exercise their right to vote. Deputy Chairperson Tesfaye Niway emphasized that enabling student participation is essential for strengthening Ethiopia’s democratic system.
