Сегодня, 19 октября, отмечается День отца, который является одним из самых молодых официальных праздников. Этот день посвящён важной роли отца в семье, его вкладу в воспитание детей и ответственности за благополучие и безопасность близких. Семейные ценности являются фундаментом будущего страны. Отцовство — это ежедневный труд, который служит примером мужества, надёжности и защиты для детей. Инициатива учреждения Дня отца была предложена летом 2021 года депутатом Госдумы от «Единой России» и заслуженным артистом России Денисом Майдановым. Сегодня «Единая Россия» организовывает праздничные мероприятия по всей стране в честь Дня отца. Активисты проводят акции по посадке деревьев на аллеях отцов, организуют беседы со школьниками о роли отца, а также онлайн-выставки «Я и папа» и фотовыставку «Четыре поколения».
