Jaguar не сдается и публикует фотографии своего будущего флагмана GT. В маскировке, но понять пропорции можно. Он красивый. Длина 5,2 м, колесная база 3,2 м, пневмоподвеска с задними подруливающими колесами, полный привод, 1000 лс на трех электромоторах и обещания "невероятно привлекательного автомобиля, который будет так же захватывающ в управлении, как и внешне". Jaguar, продавая недорогие машины с ДВС, не мог конкурировать с BMW, поэтому решил продавать дорогие электромобили и конкурировать с Bentley и Rolls Royce. То есть решил делать не “лучше и понятнее”, а “дороже и страннее”. Это сработает - 👍 Не сработает - 👎 #jaguar

Из всех "старых марок" наиболее тревожное положение у Jaguar. За последние несколько лет стратегия выживания менялась уже дважды. Сначала - попытка "выйти из тени BMW", отказ от ДВС и превращение в массовый электро-бренд, где надо было бы конкурировать с Tesla. Теперь отказ от массового производства и попытки конкурировать с Rolls Royce в супер элитных электричках. Дела идут намного хуже, чем до всех изменений, когда Jaguar был просто "машиной с ДВС с британским характером". Дилеры начинают роптать. Они устали от перемен и не понимают, каким будет Jaguar завтра и будет ли он вообще. Он выживет - 👍 Это конец - 👎 И это будет печально - 🤝 #jaguar

В пятницу Jaguarзавершил выпуск автомобилей с ДВС. Последним с конвейера в Солихилле сошел бензиновый черный F-Pace SVR c 5-и литровым бензиновым двигателем. Это предельно печально. В бензиновых Jaguar были порода, шик и скорость. В них было что-то, чего не было у немцев. Теперь британские кошки будут только электрическими. Ужас положения в том, что у Jaguar сейчас нет ни одной серийно производящейся электрической модели. Их запуск запланирован только в 2026 году. В моменте Jaguar - автопроизводитель, который не производит ничего. Это беда - 👎 Но они справятся - 👍 #jaguar

Недавно главой JLR стал индиец Баладжи. Первым делом он уволил Джерри Макговерна - главного креативного директора, отца немного странных розовых и голубых Jaguar Type 00 (на видео) и сторонника перехода на супер дорогие электрические Jaguar. Парадоксально, но индиец возможно понимает дух Jaguar лучше и адекватные респектабельные и спортивные машины не умрут, а наоборот вернутся. Ведь с Land Rover индийцы все сделали правильно, с их приходом RR стал только лучше. Розовых Jaguar нам не надо - 👍 #jaguar
