Facebook Instagram Account: Trump wants to view tourists' social networks before letting them into the country. 🌐📱
The administration of United States President Donald Trump is developing a new plan according to which tourists will be required to provide a history of their activity on Facebook, Instagram and other social networks over the past five years. 🔍
The new rule will apply, among other things, to those entering from Australia, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom, who can now visit the United States without a visa. ✈️
In total, this will affect about 40 countries included in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), whose citizens can stay in the United States for up to 90 days. 🌍
The idea of checking social media is part of the United States Government's overall plan to sharply restrict entry into the country. The authorities explain the decision by the need to "protect the United States from foreign terrorists and other threats to national and public security." 🛡
The document has not yet entered into force: first, it will be submitted for public discussion after publication in the Federal Register. 📄
Earlier, the Washington Post reported that the government has already checked several million people who live in the United States. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) also stated that it would check immigrants for possible "anti-American" statements on the Internet when applying for documents. 💬🇺🇸

News: #Ethiopia earns over $2.6 billion from #tourism in six months
Addis Abeba-Ethiopia has generated more than $2.6 billion in tourism revenue after welcoming over 700,000 international visitors during the first six months of the 2018 Ethiopian fiscal year, the Ministry of Tourism said.
In a statement reported by state media, the ministry attributed the performance to the development of new tourist destinations and the renovation of existing sites. Officials said the growth has made a significant contribution to the country’s foreign currency earnings.
The ministry also cited Addis Abeba’s role as a hub for major international conferences and diplomatic engagements as a key factor behind the rise in visitor numbers and revenue.
The latest Tourism Barometer by the United Nations World Tourism Organization projects that Ethiopia’s tourism sector could grow by 15 percent by 2025, positioning the country among Africa’s leading destinations.

Tourists to the United States would have to reveal their social media activity from the last five years, under new Trump administrationplans.
The mandatory new disclosures would apply to the 42 countries whose nationals are currently permitted to enter the US without a visa, including longtime US allies Britain, France, Australia, Germany and Japan.

US, Mexico, and Canada host the World Cup this summer, but the US economy isn't feeling the boost. 🏠📉
Contrary to billions expected, US entrepreneurs see little impact. Hotel associations report lower-than-promised returns; New York pre-bookings for June/July match last year. Philadelphia and San Francisco agree. 🏨
FIFA, which booked rooms for staff/teams, is now canceling thousands. In Philadelphia alone, 2,000 rooms were canceled. Consequently, hotels in Atlanta, Dallas, and Miami are dropping prices. 💸
Low demand stems from the Trump administration's aggressive foreign policy, making visas harder for tourists to obtain. 🛑✈️

😅Nusa Penida is absolutely stunning… but wow, the crowds
📸 Every viewpoint feels packed, and getting that “perfect” photo takes patience. Still worth it for the views, but definitely not the hidden paradise it once was.
If you’re planning to visit – come early, expect people, and bring a little extra patience ;)
