Двухдневная адвокационная кампания #ukrdays2023 14-15 июня в Конгрессе США была насыщена встречами, новыми связями, разговорами об Украине и ее победе. На второй день делегаты РАДР встретились с офисами сенаторов Джиллибранд и Шумера (Нью-Йорк), конгрессменов Джерри Коннолли (Вирджиния), Эндрю Гарбарино (Нью-Йорк) и Криса Смита (Нью-Джерси). Помимо нашей основной повестки помощи Украине, мы проинформировали членов Конгресса о том, что только что был повторно внесен законопроект РЕПО, который позволит США изъять замороженные в США активы Центрального Банка России и использовать их для восстановления Украины. Мы выразили поддержку этой инициативе. У нас впереди еще долгий путь — важно следить за движением законопроектов и способствовать их продвижению. Мы будем продолжать работать в этом направлении вместе с нашими партнерами из украинской и других диаспор. - - - - - - - - Two-day advocacy campaign of #ukrDays2023 in the US Congress on June 14-15 was full of meetings, new connections, talks about Ukraine and its victory. On the second day, delegates from RADR met with offices of senators Gillibrand and Schumer, and congressmen Gerry Connolly, Andrew Garbarino and Chris Smith. Besides of our main agenda, we made them aware that REPO act was just reintroduced. The bill would allow the US to seize frozen assets of Russian Central Bank and repurpose for reconstructing Ukraine. We expressed our support of this initiative. We have a long way ahead of us - we need to stay on top of these bills and help advance them. We’re going to continue this work in cooperation with our partners from Ukrainian an other diasporas.

Уже в третий раз в этом году делегаты RADR участвуют в адвокации в Конгрессе США совместно с партнерами из украинской диаспоры Америки - в этот раз, как и ранее в марте этого года, с Ukrainian Congress Committee of America и Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS). Фокус тот же - сделать все возможное чтобы приблизить победу Украины и поражение путинской диктатуры. Сегодня первый день двухдневной адвокации. - - - - - - - - - - For the third time this year, RADR delegates are participating in advocacy in the US Congress together with partners from the Ukrainian diaspora in the US - this time, like in last March, Ukrainian Congress Committee of America и Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS). The focus is the same - to do everything possible to bring the victory of Ukraine and the defeat of Putin's dictatorship closer.
