I started making small talk with him, and then he asked for my number, and we eventually went on a date. He suggested we go to Shake Shack, and I agreed because I like to eat there. Everything was pretty normal until I ordered a Double Shack Burger, which has two patties. He looked at me and said, "Why do girls always order things that they know they can't finish?" I said I was going to finish it and that I didn't appreciate his attitude. He then told me that I might think I can finish it, but I really can't. I told him I had eaten a whole burger before. What misconceptions do you see men spout out as if it were common fact? Mine that I am SICK of seeing is how custody courts are extremely biased in favor of the mother. I swear this must be based off of vibes because the numbers don’t support it. In 91% of custody cases, the parents mutually decide to give custody to the mother. NINETY FUCKING ONE. So how many fathers do fight for custody when they disagree? 4%. A messily 4 fucking percent. And guess what? Of that 4% who do fight, 94% WIN. Boyfriend not voting I’m not sure what I want to get out of this honestly. I just found out today that my boyfriend isn’t going to vote this year because he doesn’t like either candidate. When I brought up the issue of my rights and many others being ripped away from them if this goes bad, he just stated that he doesn’t like either one again and will not be voting. I’m so sad and angry knowing that the man that I love and have spent 4 years with doesn’t care enough about my bodily autonomy to vote.
