After we finished eating two nights ago, fiancé declares I shouldn’t touch anything because he will clean it. Next morning, I remind him of his promise and he declares he will do it after work. I already knew where this leads next, so I made a bingo card with his favorite excuses and deflections. The next day, after I worked 9 hours, did my daily workout, finished two loads of laundry, meal prepped two different dinners in the messy kitchen he promised to clean the previous night, and served him his plate… I asked him again when he would follow through on his promise to tackle his mess.
