Stainless steel removes pungent odors like garlic, onion, and fish from hands by reacting with and neutralizing sulfur compounds. The chromium in the metal oxidizes and bonds to these odor molecules. Rubbing hands on a stainless steel bar, spoon, or sink under cold running water for 30 seconds acts as a soap-free, reusable odor remover. @googlefactss#metals

May 4th is celebrated as Star Wars Day, with the popular phrase “May the Fourth be with you” as a pun on the iconic Star Wars line, “May the Force be with you.” The celebration began in 1979 when Margaret Thatcher, the UK's first female Prime Minister, took office on May 4th. Her party placed an ad in a newspaper reading, “May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations.” Over time, fans adopted the phrase to honor the Star Wars saga, making May 4th an annual fan celebration of everything Star Wars. 🌟⚔️👾 [Read more] Things Star Wars related and SFW like memes etc are allowed in the comments of this post. @googlefactss #StarWarsDay#MayTheFourth#StarWars#TheForce#SciFi#Thatcher#FunFact

Ishi was the last known member of the Yahi people, part of the Yana tribe in Northern California. Violence, disease, and forced displacement were used to perform a total genocide on his tribe. Ishi lived in isolation for years before being discovered in 1911 near Oroville, California. After his discovery, he was brought to the University of California, where anthropologists studied his language, culture, and traditions. Ishi became famous for his knowledge of the Yahi way of life, though he faced many challenges adapting to life in captivity. He lived at the university until his death in 1916. Ishi was not his real name; it means "Man." He could not tell anyone his name, as the custom was to introduce each other by other tribe members. 🌎📜🪶🏹 [Read more 1] [Read more 2] @googlefactss #History#Ishi#NativeAmerican#CulturalPreservation#IndigenousRights #Genocide If you have ideas or feedback contact us: @Googlefactss_Feedback_bot
