A naked African man was arrested for smashing cars with a beer keg in Mallow, Co. Cork today. The man in his 50s was arrested after gardaí responded to a domestic dispute at a local house. He had left a trail of destruction through the town. Gardaí are trying to establish if he is medically fit enough to be questioned. #NewToTheParish 🔗tiktok.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Portland Place Says No. In January 2023, they blamed a fire at Rawlton House—an old Victorian school—on 'false rumours'. But the 'rumours' have turned out to be true. Dublin City Council were notified of a planning permission exemption for IPAS use last February. Matt Treacy was also able to discover that the investment company which owns the mortgage on the property is Lotus Investment which is 98.97% owned by MEITAV Investment House and based in Tel Aviv. There's a protest this evening at 6pm at the top of Sherrard Street in Dublin 1. Locals are requesting supporters to bring their Tricolours. 🔗tiktok.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

"To me, he was king of the paedophiles. That’s what he was. He was not a lord. He was a paedophile and people need to know him for what he was... not for what they’re portraying him to be." 🔗archive.is

Coimisiún na Meán has rejected two freedom of information requests from The Ditch seeking records of meetings, correspondence and any mentions of ex-spy Inbal Goldberger. The Irish media regulator won’t say if it’s communicated with a former Israeli intelligence officer looking to influence social media moderation – and who boasted online about attending an event at the regulator’s office. https://www.ontheditch.com/media-regulator-wont-disclose/

News broke on socials a month ago that Government had abandoned plans to accommodate so-called asylum seekers in Coolock so I don't know why it was only reported on yesterday. Maybe they needed time to figure out the spin. There does need to be some other mechanism for locals to oppose IPAS centres without buildings being set on fire several times before Government gets the message. The biggest issue is asbestos. While it's claimed the fires hadn't triggered any release, it's not worth the risk and it was completely reckless on public safety grounds not to kill any IPAS plans immediately after the first fire. The best solution is to hold a community vote for any proposed IPAS centre. Per a 2023 Red C poll, 40% of people wouldn't be concerned with a local IPAS centre so put them in their areas. If it turns out they were only bluffing to the pollsters, it's time to leave the EU and withdraw from any UN conventions imposing so-called asylum seekers on us. 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

D8 Says No. There was a jubilant but defiant atmosphere in The Liberties today as Dublin 8 Says No took to the streets to protest against any new IPAS centre being established in their community. At one point, an entire Holy Communion party cheered the protesters as they marched past. The flag of the European Union was also burned. However, it appears authorities have already conceded to local concerns, as it was reported today that the expansion of the IPAS centre at Basin Lane will now not go ahead. One speaker remarked: "For such a small community, yous are the quickest at shutting down an IPAS centre in the country." 🔗tiktok.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

This was on Thomas St in Dublin earlier today at 4pm. The African man allegedly tried to slice a 16-month-old baby with a sharp broken can after following his mother from her home near John's Lane West in Usher's Quay. The mother says he has evil eyes and kept muttering something about her baby being an old man. He has also been spotted hanging around the Bridgefoot Street Park with another mother saying that he followed her from the park twice this week while wheeling her pram. #NewToTheParish 🔗tiktok.com 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland
