>The DUP is being grossly hypocritical on immigration — claiming now that it’s highly sceptical about immigration when for years it lobbied the Government to make it easier for more low-skilled foreigners to come to Northern Ireland as cheap labour for big business. >The vast majority of migrants to Northern Ireland are here legally. If all illegal immigration was ended overnight, it wouldn’t radically change the face of towns like Ballymena and Dungannon. A hard border in Ireland would have no effect on curbing immigration in the north. 🔗archive.ph | belfasttelegraph.co.uk 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Must be infuriating for unionists. They could burn Tricolours for breakfast and most English still wouldn't know they exist. 😂 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

MP for North Antrim Jim Allister is continuing to blame Ireland's EU membership for Ballymena's 'demographic balance being destabilised' with Roma with claims that 'busloads' of Roma are being trafficked into the north after flying into Dublin. But If 'busloads' of Roma from Eastern Europe have been crossing the border within Ireland to settle in the north 'for years', why hasn’t Jim Allister been demanding their deportation? They would have crossed the border illegally. The reality is that the main source for Roma in the north is Britain’s existing Roma population of over 100,000—and they can travel freely across the sea without so much as waving a passport, thanks to the open border migration corridor unionists insist on maintaining. And as Stephen Nolan on BBC Ulster pointed out this morning, these 'busloads' of illegals people are hallucinating are most likely tourists touring Britain and Ireland with J & K Coach Tours, who are being lied about on social media. 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

Kilcock Says No. Protest this evening at 7:30 outside the former Shalom Nursing home in Kilcock, Co. Kildare, which was ran by the Presentation Sisters up until 2023 when it closed its doors due to low occupancy. Locals believe it's being renovated for use as an IPAS centre as a Section 5 Exempted Development application was submitted on May 15th, 2025, by a company listed as Frostbreak ULC. The property is a short distance from both a primary and secondary school. Kilock Says No have a facebook group and a tiktok where you can follow updates. 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland

>The uninitiated should abandon all pretence of knowledge when examining northern street politics. Beyond the sweet nothings of Stormont lies a sectarian web of covert deals, narco-politics, and a strategy of containment through the enabling of hooliganism by British intelligence. >If loyalist violence escalates, dissident republicans may retake street leadership, pushing the scene back toward binary militarised conflict and drowning out alternative nationalist voices in Dublin or Belfast. 🔗theburkean.ie 👉🏻@theburkeanie

Jim Allister on BBC Ulster this morning blaming Ireland's EU membership for Ballymena's 'demographic balance being destabilised' with Roma. Allister claims that 'busloads' of them are being trafficked into the north after flying into Dublin. But if that were true, why would a unionist majority town with Allister serving as their MP not have already demanded their return across the border as they would have entered the north illegally. Dougie Beattie, who regularly reports at Dublin protests, has now concocted a similar narrative for GB News viewers. A far more plausible explanation is the Roma (and other migrants) were existing British residents before arriving in the north from across the sea without so much as having to wave a passport. But neither Allister nor Beattie can admit this as they both champion maintaining that migration corridor as unrestricted. Consequently they have to hallucinate a republic shaped reason for any migration problems the north experiences. 👉🏻join Late Stage Ireland
