Windows open , let the air in, I close my eyes and picture death. I'm not a poet ,used to be one but now my memory is faded and the emptiness took away my words. I'm losing parts of me like a dandelion, give me love and I will follow you like the sunflower. Although I want roses in my funeral. My fickle mind prisons me and anxiety befriends me. One bedroom apartment and these unfinished stories couldn't pay my rent. Whisky is cold , barmaid is beautiful and I pay her to bed me. She's got a scarred smile. I pulled the trigger, am I dead ?. What's it? The one who loves, the one who hates. The creature who promise and forget. Sometime tells the truth which others think it's the only honest creature but sometimes lies even on small cases. The one that other creatures are amazed by it's service, but still shocked by it's treasons. The one who construct earth in years, and destroy in just a day. All the forest animals; including lions are scared by it, but; its defeated by a virus. The one who is happy with no reason and cries with no reason. How can I describe the innocence in her almond eyes? The eyes in which my world resides. As the winds dwindle with her, The fragrance of her maidenhood spreads like wild fire, The fragrance of which even the flowers themselves want to disguise, While I long in its fire for her love, my only desire. The braids of her hair loosely tied, Reminds me of a riverine, Where the Gods came to bath and dine. Mortals like us can only dream, But her hair locked the very essence of the divine. Then a miracle happened and I was inside her mind .... Oblivious to the worries of the world, She stays in the realms of her imagination, Her bubble of life is that no one is cruel, Diving into her feelings gives me a soothing sensation. Of love, and love Always have a question peeked inside me, always have I marveled to know what is love. Line of small efforts, eased up so easily in a heart like pomegranate, peeling off layers, poems it had wove.
