Norway🇳🇴 A fjord is a sea inlet that has been deeply cut into the mainland by a giant mountain corridor. ⛰ Amidst the straight and winding corridors lies the piercing emerald-blue surface of transparent and deep waters. They reflect sheer cliffs and lush greenery. And along the shores are villages, small settlements, and farms. 👨🌾 This is how those who have had the fortune to visit Geiranger Fjord see it. #Norway @voyage

Japan, Kiorinbo Temple🇯🇵 Kiorinbo Temple (Shiga) was built by Prince Shotoku in 605 and named so because it was originally a place of learning ("Ki") surrounded by forest ("Rin"). ⛩ Kiorinbo Temple with its magnificent moss-covered stones scattered throughout the garden, reminiscent of the famous Japanese artist and aristocrat Enshu Kobori and his splendid world of wabi-sabi. #Japan @voyage

Italy, Umbria Region 🇮🇹 Umbria is a region in the center of Italy, often called its "green heart" and "sister of Tuscany." 💚 It is an authentic area between the Italian North and South, where ancient Etruscan towns and charming villages are nestled among hills, vineyards, and olive groves. 🍇 Umbria is one of the smallest regions of Italy and one of the country's hidden treasures, a place where beautiful landscapes, magnificent gastronomy, impressive culture, and ancient history come together. 🌸🌳 #Italy @voyage

Indonesia, Bali, Leke Leke Waterfall 🇮🇩 Leke Leke Waterfall is one of the most beautiful but less known waterfalls in Bali. It seems like it literally drowns in greenery. 🌿 At first glance, Leke Leke looks like a stream of white silk with silver threads. Depending on the lighting, part of this stream can be illuminated, while part remains in the shade. 💦🌺 Behind the column of falling water, you can find a small cave, naturally carved by water. About 20 meters before the waterfall, there is a small convenient platform on a hill. The area around the waterfall is very well-kept and heavily decorated, quite similar to a thematic Insta-park. #Indonesia @voyage

Vietnam🇻🇳 On the Vietnamese coast, you can often see strange round baskets that are not used for collecting fruits but are floating on them on the sea. 🧺 In fact, Vietnamese people used to have quite ordinary boats of elongated shape. But everything changed when the country became a French colony. The new authorities started imposing high taxes on all fishermen and boat owners. 🎣🚣♂️ However, the locals proved to be smarter: they started weaving round vessels out of bamboo. According to legend, fishermen didn't have to pay anything for such boats, as they claimed that it was not a boat at all, but... a big basket. Thus, the tradition of creating round "thung chai" was born. #Vietnam @voyage

Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Big Almaty Lake - a picturesque reservoir located in the foothills of the Zailiysky Alatau, 15 km south of the city of Almaty. 🏞️ The formation of the lake was caused by a major earthquake, which resulted in the collapse of mountain slopes and the formation of a landslide dam in the riverbed. Big Almaty Lake lies in a deep tectonic depression. Three mountain peaks rise above the water's surface - Sovetov, Ozerny, and Turist, with heights ranging from 3900 to 4300 meters. #Kazakhstan @voyage
