While we take a closer look at the location Louis Vuitton chose for its recent show in Paris. This season, Nicolas Ghesquière brought to life the vibrant energy of a Parisian train station. It’s a direct nod to the House’s roots—Louis Vuitton has, since its founding, been deeply tied to the aesthetics of travel. The brand began by crafting trunks for Parisian high society, and the choice of a railway station as the show venue serves as a powerful tribute to that legacy. We just stumbled upon a house that feels like it’s been pulled straight out of a daydream. Casacor — the São Paulo-based design studio founded in 2015 — has truly outdone themselves with their latest project, spanning 2,000 m². Designed for a young couple and their daughter (plus all their friends, family, and anyone who just loves a great invite), the home is all about warmth and openness. The concept? Seamlessly blending nature and architecture — case in point, a garden wall that flows right into one of the interior rooms. That one’s definitely our favorite. Everything works: the flood of natural light, the muted color palette, the private pool area, the minimalist approach to the home’s main structure. Today in our interior design series, we're mentally transporting ourselves to a dream destination — the Visum Mundi cinema. Built in 1935, this historic building has witnessed pivotal moments: it was here, in 1945, that the Dutch-German Peace Treaty was signed. Decades later, the space was reborn as an astonishingly beautiful cinema, preserving its legacy while embracing a bold new chapter. This architectural revival was carefully orchestrated to honor the building’s authenticity while adapting it for modern use. After several years of meticulous restoration, Visum Mundi now screens everything from beloved classics to arthouse films by independent directors, all within thoughtfully designed, cozy auditoriums. Tickets range from €10 to €15, depending on the screening and seating choice. In a quiet Kew suburb, a home by architect John Wardle—winner of the 2020 Australian Institute of Architects’ Gold Medal—enters the market. Designed for his family, it’s a landmark of Australian architecture, having won the National AIA Interior Architecture Award two decades ago.
