Scientists uploaded a digital version of a fruit fly brain and connected it to a virtual body. The uploaded brain model contains about 125,000 neurons and over 50 million synapses based on real brain mapping data. In a physics simulation, the virtual fly showed behaviors like walking and moving using signals from the uploaded brain.
